Do you ever feel like you have to hide parts of yourself to fit in? In this powerful episode of "The Traveling Table Dinner Series,” guest Dédé Tetsubayashi shares their experience of hiding parts of themself to fit in. We delve into the complex reality of identity, culture, systemic pressures to conform, and the journey to share our stories to find connection.

Join us as we bring together a group of strangers from different cities, backgrounds, lived experiences, career expertise, generational exposure, and abilities to share and learn from each other’s personal stories. This is the first of a three-part series.

**This is an unscripted social experiment where guests discuss a series of hard topics that go below the surface. We invite guests to the table where difficult conversations can be shared in a safe space. Should a particular conversation, word choice, and/or phrasing provoke a reaction, we ask that you show grace and guidance in your comments directed at guests. This experience will hopefully provoke self-reflection, lessons, and a desire from guests and viewers to learn from one another's stories.
