CH3.EP2: Are We Friends, Yet? (Baltimore, MD)

How do you make new friends? The older you get, the more intentional you have to be in growing new, and old, friendships. The investment takes time and intentionality—who do you want to share time and space with? Why? How? It’s interesting to see how people are choosing how and with whom they spend their time, differently than they did a few years ago. We kick off this conversation with Durian Neal of Loving Spoon Collective’s “Dope Ass Donuts” and my goodness, they were everything you’d expect from donuts with a name like that. If only you could have joined us for this dessert!

In this second episode of Chapter Three of the dinner series, the guests answer the question: What is a tradition that warms your heart? How do you make new connections?

Join this amazing group of humans as they unpack these questions. And if you missed the first part of this conversation, scroll back through and catch up!

This is an unscripted social experiment where guests discuss a series of hard topics that go below the surface. We invite guests to the table where difficult conversations can be shared in a safe space. Should a particular conversation, word choice, and/or phrasing provoke a reaction, we ask that you show grace and guidance in your comments directed at guests. This experience will hopefully provoke self-reflection, lessons, and a desire from guests and viewers to learn from one another's stories.
