CH 4 EP 1: Why Does Your Story Matter? (Baltimore, MD)
Have you ever longed to be a part of a community you felt so deeply a part of but without connections in?
Welcome to a special edition of The Traveling Table Dinner Series. Join us as host Lia James facilitates a Queer-centered dinner for that exact reason. This dinner was not only in honor of Pride Month but to support a guest who, despite coming out five years ago, has struggled to find her place within the Queer community.
Our guests share their personal journeys of self-discovery, acceptance, and resilience, casting light on the importance of community, especially right now. Together they explore the challenges and triumphs of their Queer experience. The conversation delves into representation in media and society, sparking insightful discussions on opportunity and the path forward. This episode is a celebration of identity, community, and the power of shared stories.
